Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services, Inc. is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in the Greater Sacramento area.

Join a clinician-led team dedicated to helping students build communication skills and succeed in the classroom. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders, collaborating with teachers and families, and developing IEP goals with a focus on AAC and assistive technology.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

• Experience or interest in working with pediatric/school-based populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.
