Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in the San Jose area. The role involves evaluations, direct therapy, IEP goal development, and collaboration with educators and staff.

The position offers a competitive salary of $95,000-$135,000 per year, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for mentorship and career growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active CA SLP License (or eligibility).
• SLP Services Credential through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).

• Experience or interest in working with pediatric/school-based populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.
