Job summary

TheraPeds Partners in Chestertown, MD is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full‑time school‑based role. You’ll deliver individual and small‑group therapy, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers and families to support students’ communication needs.

The position offers guaranteed hours, a manageable caseload, planning time, and clinical and administrative support. Competitive pay and benefits are provided, with 36–38 hours weekly and alignment to the school calendar.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• CCC‑SLP preferred.
• Active or eligible New Hampshire SLP licensure.
• School‑based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IEPs, evaluations, eligibility, and school‑based service delivery.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Good organization and time‑management skills.
• Comfort with technology and documentation.
• Ability to complete required background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small‑group speech‑language therapy.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and intervention plans.
• Address articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs.
• Conduct evaluations and reevaluations and interpret results.
• Collect data, monitor progress, and complete progress reports.
• Develop IEP documentation and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related staff.
• Provide classroom strategies and maintain service records.
