Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team in Chestertown, MD for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time role offers 20 hours weekly with a hybrid on-site schedule, serving students Pre-K through 12th grade, and maintaining dedicated documentation and planning time.

You will assess, treat, and monitor communication disorders, collaborate with educators and families, and support AAC and other needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Maryland SLP licensure (active or eligible) and MD DOE school-based licensure.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CF-SLP may be considered with supervision.
• Experience with children and school-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient with technology for documentation and service delivery.
• Ability to complete fingerprinting and background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students individually and in groups.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop, implement and monitor IEP goals and progress.
• Evaluate progress and adjust interventions based on data.
• Provide consultation to teachers, staff and families.
• Support articulation, language, fluency, AAC and other needs.
• Document progress and complete required reporting.
• Participate in IEP, reevaluation and team meetings.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support students.
