Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is hiring a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Rock Hall, MD. The full-time position (36-38 hours/week) runs for the 2026-2027 school year with on-site/hybrid work arrangements and a pay rate of $55-$65 per hour.

The role includes guaranteed hours, a manageable caseload, and collaboration with district and TheraPeds teams. Ideal candidates hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology, MD SLP licensure, and appropriate school-based

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for Maryland SLP licensure.
• Experience with children and school-based practice is preferred.
• Strong communication and time-management skills are essential.
• Proficient in documentation and data-driven progress reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students individually and in groups.
• Develop and monitor IEP goals with regular progress updates.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs.
• Conduct assessments and adjust intervention strategies based on data.
• Complete timely documentation and participate in IEP/eligibility meetings.

Education

Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Maryland SLP licensure

Maryland Department of Education school-based licensure

ASHA CCC-SLP (preferred)

CF-SLP supervision possible
