Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in the East Bay, CA. Join a clinician-led team dedicated to helping students build communication skills and succeed in the classroom.

Responsibilities include evaluating speech and language, developing IEP goals, delivering direct therapy, collaborating with teachers and staff, and documenting progress per school guidelines. A Master's in SLP and CA license are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required (Speech-Language Pathology).
• Active CA SLP License or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.
