Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in the Hayward area. CFs welcome to apply and join a clinician-led team dedicated to improving student communication in the classroom.

Responsibilities include evaluations, direct therapy, IEP goal development, and collaboration with school staff; relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided to support growth and retention.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active CA SLP License or eligibility.
• CFs welcome to apply.
• Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.
