Job summary

Walworth County is seeking a Speech‑Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic, prescriptive, and instructional services to students with language, speech, voice, and fluency needs in the school setting. Services emphasize natural environment and classroom integration, with a focus on augmentative communication devices and assistive technology to support communication and educational progress.

The role includes evaluation, IEP planning, collaboration with families and staff, and ongoing progress

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Must be eligible for a Wisconsin Teaching License #1820 – Speech and Language Pathology.
• Zero to six months of prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students suspected of having Speech/Language needs.
• Develop IEPs in consultation with parents and teachers.
• Provide instructional services to meet goals in students' IEPs.
• Document progress and report to parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Complete Medicaid requirements for school‑based claiming.
