Job summary

Gersh Autism is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students with ASD in Issaquah, WA. You will provide direct one‑on‑one or small group instruction under BCBA supervision and help implement behavior plans and IEPs.

The role emphasizes data collection, collaboration with teachers, and growth in a school environment. You will work with students aged 5–21 in a year‑round program, focusing on communication, social, and daily living skills while adhering to ethical standards and

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work in a team and interact professionally with students, families and colleagues.
• Patience, flexibility and a passion for working with students with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement BIPs and IEPs as developed by the BCBA.
• Provide direct one‑on‑one or small group support in the classroom and other settings.
• Collect and record accurate data on student behaviors and progress.
• Assist in teaching strategies to support academic, social, and behavioral development.
• Conduct behavior management to decrease challenging behaviors and increase adaptive behaviors.
• Support daily living skills and independence-building tasks.
• Collaborate with the teaching staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and RBT supervision sessions.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards.
