Job summary

New London Public Schools seeks a Registered Behavioral Technician to support BCBAs at Nathan Hale Arts Magnet School. This full-time, 10-month position works under the supervision of the Supervisor of Special Education to implement behavior plans and data collection.

Responsibilities include data entry, assessment support, skill acquisition and behavior reduction procedures, and reporting to families and staff. Strong communication and physical ability to move and lift students are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• RBT certificate with BACB.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to lift 30–80 pounds.
• Willing to participate in crisis intervention as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist BCBAs with behavior reduction assessments and data collection.
• Prepare and update data on caseload.
• Implement skill acquisition plans and monitor progress.
• Assist with behavior management procedures and crisis prevention training.
• Document reports and share findings with families and staff.
• Maintain professional conduct and collaborate with team.
