Job summary

Jacksonville North Pulaski School District is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students with behavioral needs under the supervision of a BCBA. You will assist in implementing ABA strategies, monitor progress, collect data, and collaborate with teachers and staff across district sites.

The role requires active RBT certification, ability to interpret IEPs/BIPs, and experience in data collection and training staff.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or BCaBA status required.
• Attach RBT certification or relevant degree transcript.
• Pre-employment background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Read and interpret IEPs related to behavior needs.
• Provide modeling and training for teachers and paraprofessionals in behavior plans.
• Collect, record, and monitor ongoing behavior data.
• Communicate effectively with school teams and staff.
• Assist BCBA with observations and assessments.
• Educate staff on ABA principles.
• Develop reinforcement systems with staff.
