Job summary

Ellington Public Schools is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement behavioral interventions and support students under BCBA supervision.

You will collect data, deliver individualized or small-group instruction, and collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate behavioral strategies into daily routines. The role follows the school calendar and offers a 10-month schedule with benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification is required.
• Experience working with children, especially with autism or developmental disabilities.
• PMT certificate or willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision.
• Data collection and analysis to monitor progress and adjust plans.
• Deliver direct instruction to students individually or in small groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraeducators and staff to integrate behavioral strategies.
