Job summary

enCircle is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide behavioral support to students under BCBA supervision. You will assist with data collection, observations, and implementing behavior plans across classroom and school settings.

The role requires driving and a clean record, with a Monday–Friday 8:00AM–4:00PM schedule. You will collaborate with teachers and aides, maintain data systems, and support staff in delivering evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in education, psychology, human services, or related field preferred.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, preferred.
• If not certified, enroll in an approved 40-hour RBT training within two weeks and obtain certification within 60 days.
• Maintain active RBT certification per BACB requirements.
• Experience with students with behavioral, emotional, developmental, or educational needs preferred.
• Knowledge of ASD and evidence-based behavioral interventions preferred.
• Valid Virginia Driver's License and proof of insurance; satisfactory driving record.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
• Must participate in crisis de-escalation, First Aid, and CPR certification.
• Must be able to implement crisis intervention procedures when necessary.
• Must serve as a mandated reporter.
• 40 hours per week guaranteed.
• Paid school breaks.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:00PM.
• Driving-specific restrictions: list of violations within last 5 years and last 3 years to consider.
• Must not have certain violations in the past years.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans, behavior support plans, and skill acquisition programs under supervision.
• Provide direct behavioral support to students across classrooms and school settings.
• Support teachers and aides in implementing behavior plans and classroom management procedures.
• Model evidence-based behavior intervention strategies as directed by a BCBA/BCaBA.
• Conduct behavioral observations and communicate findings to the supervising BCBA/BCaBA.
• Collect accurate behavioral, academic, and skill data and assist with data collection procedures.
• Support progress monitoring for IEP goals and behavioral objectives.
• Monitor fidelity of implementation of behavior plans.
• Collaborate with staff to support student success.
• Prepare and maintain behavior support materials and data sheets.
• Assist with setup and maintenance of behavior data systems and graphs.
