Job summary

Ellington Public Schools is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement individualized behavioral interventions and collect data to support IEP services. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a 10-month school calendar.

Responsibilities include delivering direct instruction, applying ABA techniques, and coordinating with teachers and staff to integrate behavior strategies into classroom routines.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Hold PMT certificate or be willing to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision.
• Data collection and analysis of student behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Deliver individualized or small-group instruction per IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraeducators, and staff to integrate behavioral strategies in daily routines.
