Job summary

Meliora Academy seeks a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work with students ages 3–22 who have autism and related challenges in a structured school setting.

You will support academic tasks, social skills, daily living activities, and emotional regulation while implementing ABA-based strategies and data collection to monitor progress.

Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, therapists, and families to promote independence and meaningful progress for each student.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and an active RBT certification in good standing.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to maintain a positive, professional school environment with patience.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Work Monday-Friday 8:00am-3:30pm.
• Support academic tasks, social skills, daily living activities, and emotional regulation.
• Monitor student progress by observing behavior and documenting data.
• Implement individualized behavior plans and ABA-based strategies.
• Support student safety using approved de-escalation techniques.
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, therapists, and families to promote student success.
