Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics seeks a school-based Physical Therapist Assistant to support students with mobility and independence under a licensed PT. You will implement IEP-directed therapy, assist with adaptive equipment, and document progress while collaborating with educators and the special education team.

Qualifications include an Associate degree and Texas PTA licensure, CPR certification, and a preference for school-based or pediatric experience.

Qualifications

• Active licensure through the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• CPR certification current.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy services per student IEPs.
• Help with mobility and participation in school settings.
• Document progress and maintain service records.
• Collaborate with PTs, educators, and special education teams.
• Assist with adaptive equipment and mobility recommendations.
• Participate in ARD meetings and team discussions.
• Support a student-centered educational environment.
