Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a School-based Physical Therapist Assistant to support students under the supervision of a licensed PT. You will help improve mobility, increase independence, and facilitate access to learning in the school setting.

Responsibilities include implementing IEP-directed therapies, documenting progress, collaborating with educators and therapists, and assisting with adaptive equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active licensure through the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Current CPR certification.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.

• Assist with therapeutic activities to improve functional mobility and participation in school.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate service records.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, educators, and special education teams to support student success.

• Participate in ARD meetings and team discussions as appropriate.
• Support a positive, student-centered educational environment.

Your Role
