Job summary

Candor is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support students in a school-based setting in Texas. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to implement IEP-driven therapies and collaborate with educators to improve mobility and participation in classes.

The role offers full-time, part-time, and as-needed opportunities with competitive pay and benefits, including 401(k) matching and professional mentorship. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active licensure through the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Current CPR certification.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy services and interventions in student IEPs.
• Assist with activities to improve mobility and participation in school.
• Document student progress and maintain service records.
• Collaborate with PT, educators, and special education teams.
• Assist with adaptive equipment, positioning, and mobility recommendations.
• Participate in ARD meetings and team discussions as appropriate.
