Candor invites a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join a school-based team dedicated to helping students succeed. You’ll work under a licensed Physical Therapist to support mobility and access to education. Qualifications include an Associate degree from an accredited PTA program, Texas licensure, CPR certification, and school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active licensure through the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Current CPR certification.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implementing therapy services and interventions outlined in student IEPs.
• Assisting with therapeutic activities designed to improve functional mobility and participation in the school setting.
• Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate service records.
• Collaborating with Physical Therapists, educators, and special education teams to support student success.
• Assisting with adaptive equipment, positioning, and mobility recommendations.
• Participating in ARD meetings and team discussions as appropriate.
• Supporting a positive, student-centered educational environment.
