Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a school-based Physical Therapist to help students improve mobility and access to education. You will conduct evaluations, collaborate with the IEP team, and deliver or supervise therapy while tracking progress and supporting families and educators.

Requirements include a Master’s in Physical Therapy, Texas license, and CPR certification. Flexible full-time, part-time, or as-needed roles are available, with a competitive pay rate and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active license by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs through comprehensive PT evaluations using standardized tools and student-centered assessments to determine need for services per Texas education standards.
• Communicate findings to parents, educators, and district personnel with clear, actionable recommendations to promote access and independence.
• Develop interventions with the IEP team to address student needs and enhance participation in the educational environment.
• Provide direct therapy or supervise PTAs in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress by collecting, analyzing, and documenting data for IEP reviews and service planning.
• Support ARD meetings and conferences, advocating for students and contributing to program improvement.
