Job summary

Cynergy Rehab Group is seeking a School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) to work with students from preschool through high school in Maumelle and Little Rock, Arkansas. You will evaluate students, develop IEP-based treatment plans, and deliver direct PT services during the school day to enhance mobility, balance, and participation.

This full-time role requires an Arkansas PT license and a passion for pediatric care.

Qualifications

• Current Arkansas Physical Therapist license.
• Experience with school-based or pediatric populations preferred.
• Willingness to travel between Maumelle & Little Rock campuses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for students with orthopedic, neurological, developmental, and genetic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable IEP goals.
• Provide direct PT services to improve mobility, strength, endurance, and participation in school.
• Recommend and monitor adaptive equipment and orthotics.
• Collaborate with teachers, nurses, OTs, SLPs, and families to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide classroom accommodation guidance.
• Educate staff on transfers, positioning, and mobility strategies.
• Complete evaluations, progress reports, and Medicaid documentation in a timely manner.
• Travel between assigned school campuses in Maumelle and Little Rock.
