Job summary

Strides Therapy & Educational Services is hiring a School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) in Baltimore City to support student growth in motor skills and functional mobility. The role collaborates with teachers, parents, and clinicians to implement PT plans within the school setting.

The candidate will assess, design, and execute individualized programs, track progress, and contribute to IEP meetings. It’s a full-time opportunity with potential part-time schedules and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with school teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to identify motor skill deficits.
• Develop individualized therapy plans aligned to IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative PT services to improve mobility and function.
• Maintain accurate records and quarterly progress reports.
• Educate and train school staff and families on strategies to support students.
