Job summary

Central Bucks School District in Titus Elementary School is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for full-time, school-year employment to support a student with autism or related needs in the classroom, lunch, and recess. Duties include one-to-one support, assisting daily activities, and collaborating with staff; training provided for crisis prevention; 90-day provisional employment.

Hours are 8:15am–3:35pm, 10-month schedule; compensation $20.84 per hour with potential $1.25 add-on for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED equivalent required at time of hire.
• Able to work as a team member and communicate effectively with students and adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for a student with needs in autism, emotional/behavioral, intellectual, medical, or personal care areas.
• Assist student with daily activities in classroom, specials, lunch and recess.
• Follow crisis prevention techniques; training provided by CBSD; may involve restraint as a last resort.
