Job summary

Central Bucks School District is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for a full-time position with benefits at Tamanend Middle School. The role involves one-to-one support for a student with autism, behavioral needs or medical needs during a 10-month school year (7:15 AM–2:35 PM).

Responsibilities include assisting daily activities, academic tasks, and social interactions across classroom and school settings; training on crisis prevention will be provided by CBSD.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required at time of hire.
• Must work as a team member and communicate effectively with students and adults.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and be a positive role model for students.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for a student with autism, emotional, behavioral, or medical needs.
• Assist with daily activities, academics, social interactions, and routines in classroom, specials, lunch and recess.
• Follow IEP-related crisis prevention techniques and participate in training provided by CBSD.
