Job summary

Central Bucks School District seeks a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for Doyle Elementary School for the 2026/2027 year. This full-time, 10-month position includes benefits and a school-day schedule.

The PCA will work one-to-one with a student with behavioral and organizational needs, assist with daily academic and social activities, and support classroom routines from 8:00 to 3:30, with crisis-prevention techniques as a last resort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required at time of hire.
• Must work as a team member, exercise good judgment, effectively communicate with students and adults, and be a positive role model.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to a student with behavioral, emotional, organizational or impulsivity needs in classroom, specials, lunch and recess.
• Assist student with daily academic and social activities and routines.
• May be required to assist with toileting; crisis-prevention techniques may be used as a last resort; training provided by CBSD.
