Job summary

Central Bucks School District is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for Unami Middle School for the 2026-2027 year. This full-time role includes 10-months of student days, 7:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. and benefits.

Duties involve one-to-one support for students with autism, behavioral or medical needs, assisting with daily activities, and applying crisis-prevention techniques when necessary. A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED required at time of hire.
• Must work as a team member and communicate effectively with students and adults.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and prioritize tasks in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to a student with autism, behavioral, medical or intellectual needs.
• Assist with daily academic and social activities in classroom, specials, lunch and recess.
• Utilize crisis prevention techniques; restraints may be used as a last resort, training provided by CBSD.
