Job summary

Central Bucks School District seeks a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for West High on a full-time, benefits-eligible basis. Hours are 7:10am–2:40pm during the 10-month school year, with compensation at $20.84 per hour; location at Central Bucks High School West (subject to change).

The position supports a student with autism/behavioral/medical needs and runs through the 2026/2027 school year. Employment is contingent on the student’s IEP; training will be provided by CBSD to ensure effective

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED equivalent required at time of hire.
• Must work as a team member and communicate effectively with students and adults.
• Ability to be a positive role model for students.
• Able to work in a classroom environment and manage routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to a student with autism/behavioral/medical needs in classroom, specials, lunch and recess.
• Assist student with daily activities and social interactions.
• Support grooming, personal care, academic tasks and organizational needs.
• Adhere to crisis prevention techniques with students as required by IEP; training provided by CBSD.
