RISE is seeking a Para-Behavioral Interventionist to provide direct one-on-one intervention for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities within school settings. You will implement treatment plans and document progress as part of a multidisciplinary team.

This role requires 18+, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and MANDT certifications. A supportive environment emphasizes growth, training, and collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/GED (preferred).
• Pass ParaPro PRAXIS exam or have 48 college credits.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• CPR/First Aid Certification (provided by RISE).
• MANDT or other de-escalation training (provided by RISE).
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one intervention for a child or adolescent with developmental disability in schools.
• Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals.
• Collaborate and coordinate services with treatment team in the school setting.
• Provide daily documentation on progression or regression of goals.
• Communicate effectively with teachers and other providers; defer family communication to appropriate school staff.
