Job summary

RISE seeks an Intervention Professional to deliver direct intervention for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities in school, community or center settings. You will implement plans to reduce maladaptive behaviors and reinforce adaptive skills, documenting progress and coordinating with the treatment team.

You will also collaborate with families, provide client progress updates, and participate in supervision and ongoing training to maintain program quality.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Master's Degree in human service field.
• Verifiable paid, supervised experience providing services to a 0–21 year old with a developmental disability for at least 1200 hours.
• Complete 40 hour RBT training in ABA or hold HI certificate.
• Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and car insurance.
• Provide or obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Provide or obtain MANDT or other de-escalation training.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one intervention to a child or adolescent with a developmental disability.
• Provide daily documentation on progress toward goals.
• Effectively communicate with parents and other providers.
• Complete required annual training requirements.
