Job summary

RISE Services Inc. is seeking a Para-Behavioral Interventionist (Para BI) to support children and adolescents with developmental disabilities in school settings. You will implement treatment plans, reinforce adaptive behaviors, and monitor progress under supervision.

Responsibilities include one-on-one guidance, progress documentation, collaboration with school teams, and clear communication with teachers and other providers. Training and certifications are provided by RISE.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Must pass ParaPro PRAXIS or have 48 college credits completed.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and car insurance.
• Provide or obtain CPR/First Aid Certification (RISE provides).
• Provide or obtain MANDT/de-escalation certification (RISE provides).
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one intervention for a child or adolescent with developmental disabilities per treatment plan.
• Provide regular progress updates on treatment goals (written/verbal).
• Collaborate with treatment team members in the school setting.
• Document progress daily on goal progression.
• Communicate with teachers and providers; families via appropriate staff.
