Job summary

RISE is hiring an Intervention Specialist to provide direct one-on-one intervention for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities in school, community, or center settings. You will implement treatment plans aimed at reducing maladaptive behaviors and promoting adaptive behaviors.

Documentation of progress, collaboration with the treatment team, and regular supervision are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field with required credits.
• 1,040 hours paid supervised experience with individuals 0–21 with developmental disabilities.
• 40 hour RBT training or HI certification provided by RISE.
• Must have CPR/First Aid Certification.
• MANDT or other de-escalation certification training.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one on one intervention to a child or adolescent with a developmental disability.
• Provide daily documentation on the progress of goals.
• Effectively communicate with parents and other providers.
• Must complete required annual training requirements.
