Job summary

RCM HealthCare Travel is seeking a local contract School Occupational Therapist for a local contract job in Monroe, Michigan. This onsite, school-based role involves supporting a K-12 caseload with 35–37.5 hours per week during the school year and requires ASAP start with a 13-week duration.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, MI OT licensure, and experience in MET/IEP processes to support student growth and safety in the school setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Michigan required; PA Driver’s License may be needed.
• Local contract for school setting with ASAP start and 13-week duration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in MET and IEP meetings as necessary.
• Assess levels of functioning and develop written plans for remediation.
• Support motor, sensory, and functional skills through school-based OT interventions.
• Coordinate with classroom staff to provide integrated multidisciplinary programs.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress to parents.
