EDU Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team in Monroe, MI for the upcoming school year. The OT will help students develop skills for success in school, learning, and daily activities.

The role involves evaluating students, writing reports and IEPs, and collaborating with parents, teachers, and administrators to coordinate therapy services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from ACOTE accredited university.
• Active state licensure or ability to obtain.
• Experience in schools or with children preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy services to exceptional children in school settings.
• Evaluates, screens, and observes students.
• Writes evaluation reports, progress notes, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Communicates with parents, teachers, and administrators to coordinate care.
