Job summary

AnthroMed Education in Monroe County, MI, seeks a School-Based Occupational Therapist for the 2026–2027 school year. The role provides direct OT services to K-12 students, develops IEP-aligned treatment plans, and collaborates with educators, families, and related service providers to support student participation in the school day.

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible Michigan OT licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to promote student success.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and sensory strategies to improve participation.
• Monitor progress and complete Medicaid/IEP paperwork.
