Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist to support a K-12 caseload in Wayne County, Michigan. This onsite, part-time contract runs through June 2027 with a start as soon as possible.

The role centers on therapeutic interventions to foster student growth and requires collaboration with MET/IEP teams. You will assess, plan, and implement OT services, adapting activities to individual needs, and maintaining detailed records while ensuring compliance and open

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and MI OT licensure.
• Experience with K-12 school-based therapy and IEP processes.
• Strong collaboration with MET/IEP teams and classroom staff.

Responsibilities

• Screen, diagnose, and determine eligibility for OT services for students.
• Complete OT case study evaluations and develop written plans.
• Improve mobility and participation in educational activities; enhance fine motor skills.
• Adapt equipment to individual student needs and collaborate on multidisciplinary programs.
• Participate in MET/IEP meetings and provide staff/parent training.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress to parents.
• Ensure safety and independence in school-related activities.
