Job summary

E-Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our onsite team in Dearborn Heights, MI for the 26/27 school year. The role focuses on delivering OT services to PreK-12 students, collaborating with families and school staff to support development and educational goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and state licensure.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
• Knowledge of sensory integration therapy and handwriting strategies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals with students, parents, and school staff.
• Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address students' needs and promote skill development.
• Monitor and document progress towards goals, adjusting plans as needed.
• Provide consultation and support to teachers and school staff regarding strategies to promote participation and success in the classroom.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
