Job summary

E-Therapy is seeking an On-Site School Occupational Therapist (OTR) to support K-12 students in Dearborn Heights, MI. This full-time role requires licensure in Michigan and NBCOT certification, with a focus on comprehensive OT services in a school setting.

You will evaluate students, develop goals, and collaborate with families and staff to implement effective therapy plans, including participation in IEP meetings and progress documentation. Cross-license opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist in MI.
• NBCOT certification.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school or pediatric setting.
• Experience with pediatric assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
• Implement evidence-based OT interventions to address needs and promote skill development.
• Monitor progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support participation and success in the classroom.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to education plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
