Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking Occupational Therapists to provide school-based services for a local school district. This maternity leave position offers a November start and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.

Therapists will assess, plan, and implement IEP-aligned interventions, collaborate with teachers and families, and document progress in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Strong qualifications include state licensure and a Master’s in OT.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Child Abuse, Federal, and State Clearances.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide therapy techniques through individual/group sessions aligned with IEP goals.
• Screen, evaluate, and document student progress using approved instruments.
• Participate in IEP/MDT meetings to adapt therapy interventions and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate classroom-based activities and skill carryover.
• Provide consultative services to parents and involve them in the therapy program.
• Maintain all reports and compliance with federal/state laws and school policy.
• Support needs of all students through collaboration with other disciplines.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of school-based therapy research and practices.
