Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy in Abington, PA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services in an elementary school on maternity coverage from February through the 2026–2027 school year. The role focuses on supporting students with educational goals within the IEP framework and collaborating with educators.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group occupational therapy services aligned with students’ educational needs and IEP goals
• Screen and evaluate students using appropriate assessment tools and procedures
• Develop and implement individualized therapy interventions based on student needs
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support carryover of skills across the classroom and school environment
• Provide consultation and support to educators and families regarding student needs and appropriate strategies
• Make recommendations regarding adaptive equipment, materials, and environmental modifications when appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with state and federal requirements and school policies
• Collaborate with other professionals to support students’ participation, independence, and success in the educational environment
• Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices in school-based occupational therapy
• Follow applicable federal and state regulations, professional standards, and school policies
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed based on student and district needs

Job description

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide school-based services in an elementary school in the Abington, PA area. This opportunity is for maternity coverage beginning in February through the end of the 2026–2027 school year.

This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working with elementary-aged students and wants to make a meaningful impact within a supportive school environment. There may also be an opportunity to return for the following school year or transition into another full-time or part-time opportunity with Kelly Pediatric Therapy for those interested!

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group occupational therapy services aligned with students’ educational needs and IEP goals
