Job summary

The Chimes School in Maryland is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to support students ages 5-21 with IDD in a nonpublic MSDE-approved program.

You will evaluate students, write OT reports, develop IEP-aligned goals, provide direct therapy, and collaborate with classroom teams to support participation and independence.

Applicants should hold an OT degree, Maryland license, and ideally 2+ years of school-based experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Maryland OT license and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students (ages 5-21) and write OT reports.
• Create and deliver IEP-aligned OT goals and intervention plans.
• Provide direct therapy and consult with classroom teams to support participation.
• Recommend accommodations, task/environment modifications, and assistive technology as needed.
• Maintain timely documentation and collaborate in IEP meetings and school planning.
