Job summary

The Chimes School is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to support students ages 5–21 with complex needs in a MSDE-approved nonpublic program. You will evaluate students, develop IEP-aligned goals, deliver therapy, and collaborate with classroom teams to enhance participation and independence.

Preferred candidates have 2+ years of OT experience in school settings, strong collaboration and documentation skills, and an active Maryland OT license.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Maryland OT license (and any required certifications)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students (ages 5–21) and write OT reports.
• Create and deliver IEP-aligned OT goals and intervention plans.
• Provide direct therapy and consult with classroom teams to support participation and independence.
• Recommend accommodations, task/environment modifications, and assistive technology as needed.
• Maintain timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings and school team planning.
