Job summary

Qualifications

• Hold a valid license granted by the Oregon Occupational Therapy Licensing Board.
• Graduation from an accredited OT program and NBCOT certification.
• Experience with occupational therapy in educational settings and knowledge of state/federal education laws.

Responsibilities

• Create and model a respectful learning environment.
• Evaluate students’ functioning in fine motor, visual motor, visual perceptual, sensory processing, self-help, feeding needs.
• Interpret standardized assessments and document results clearly and promptly.
• Provide therapeutic interventions in motor, adaptive and sensory areas.
• Collaborate on IEP/504 development and attend meetings.
• Coordinate treatment with other specialists and train staff on assistive strategies.
