Job summary

Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation seeks an Occupational Therapist to lead the district OT program for students with disabilities. You will develop individualized programming based on sensory, motor, and daily living needs within school settings.

You will screen, evaluate, and monitor students, collaborate with teachers and families, and contribute to IEP planning while staying current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.

Qualifications

• State certification to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT certification required/initial certification acceptable.
• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• State licensure in Indiana or eligible.
• Motor vehicle operator's license or transport available.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and coordination of the district OT program.
• Screen, evaluate, and monitor students for educational OT services.
• Collaborate with staff to align student outcomes.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for student participation.
• Assess need for assistive technology and equipment.
• Document services and maintain required records.
• Supervise OT Assistants as needed.
• Plan and conduct continuing education for staff, parents, and students.
• Keep current with professional developments in education.
