Job summary

The Corvallis School District is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide evaluation and intervention services to students within the school setting. The role includes collaboration with IEP/504 teams, staff training, and implementing adaptive strategies to enhance student participation in classroom activities.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid license granted by the Oregon Occupational Therapy Licensing Board.
• Graduation from an accredited program of Occupational Therapy; NBCOT certification required.
• Experience with occupational therapy in educational settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students in fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing and self-help abilities for academic access.
• Develop and attend IEP/504 meetings and collaborate with the IEP/504 team.
• Provide therapeutic interventions in motor, adaptive and sensory areas.
• Maintain documentation of interventions and progress in a timely, professional manner.
• Coordinate with families, staff and other professionals to support student participation.
