Job summary

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana is seeking a Site-Based Coordinator to deliver school-based mentoring, coordinating youth and volunteer enrollment, facilitating matches, and ensuring program quality across our service area.

This role requires independent judgment, strong relationship-building, and the ability to work with schools and community partners; travel 25-45% and a 40-hour work week are typical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in human services or education.
• Strong assessment and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead youth and volunteer enrollment through interviewing and assessment.
• Match mentors with youth groups based on evaluation.
• Collaborate with community, schools, and curriculum partners to ensure effective program delivery.
• Monitor and support match relationships to ensure positive outcomes.
• Travel to community and school sites within our service area (25-45%).
