Job summary

The SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) seeks a School Based Mental Health Professional I to provide a full range of clinical services as an embedded Mental Health Professional in Lexington/Richland School District 5. You will work under supervision to deliver assessments, therapy, and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, participating in supervision, and using evidence-based practices while meeting BHDD quality standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field is required.
• Experience providing clinical services in school-based or community mental health settings preferred.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments, individual, family & group treatment and crisis intervention services.
• Deliver services with 854 hours annually of direct clinical work as part of program expectations.
• Participate in supervision, treatment team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
