Job summary

SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) seeks a Mental Health Professional to provide clinical mental health services in a school-based program within the Orangeburg School District. You will work under general supervision to support students and families toward lasting wellness, in a public-school setting.

The role involves crisis management, individual/group/family therapy, and coordination with school staff to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in guidance, counseling or the social sciences or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide an array of community mental health services in a school setting in a culturally competent manner.
• Participate in treatment team meetings/staffing and administrative meetings as designated; Adhere to Corporate Compliance, Fire and Safety, CARF and HIPAA standards.
