Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Master's degree and/or license preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with students, peers, and families.
• Well organized with good time management.
• Ability to express information clearly in oral and written form; respond to questions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct drug and alcohol assessments and make recommendations.
• Provide guidance information and resources to students and families.
• Make referrals to appropriate community resources per district guidelines.
• Coordinate and implement group guidance programs (anger management, grief, anxiety, stress management, social skills).
• Respond to crisis situations when appropriate and coordinate with the Student Assistant Services Department.
