Job summary

Community Counseling Solutions is seeking a School Based Counselor to provide behavioral health services in schools across the district. The role involves individual and group counseling, prevention, education, and outreach, with a focus on students’ academic and personal growth.

The position supports a .83 FTE schedule, with summer breaks, and requires coordination with CCS clinicians and school staff to implement treatment plans. A strong commitment to culturally competent care is essential.

Qualifications

• MHS IV requires doctorate or equivalent licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMFT).
• MHS III requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• MHS II with variance requires a Bachelor's and enrollment in a Master’s program within 4 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services to children and families including screening, assessment, individual and group therapy.
• Coordinate with school teams and community partners to support student outcomes.
• Respond to crisis and provide after-hours emergency services as needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with OARs and agency guidelines.
