Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Homeland, CA for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time building support role providing a local K-12 district with nursing services.

You will work with a team to support students with medical needs, medications, and screenings, under the guidance of experienced clinicians. The role offers local and travel opportunities nationwide and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active LVN license in California
• Current BLS CPR/AED certification
• Pediatric and private duty nursing experience preferred
• School-based experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist building nurses with screenings and documentation review
• Provide first aid care and daily medication management
• Rotate through classrooms or buildings to administer medications, tube feedings, diabetic care, and other student health needs
• Serve as a private duty nurse (PDN) for students with medical needs such as diabetes management, seizure management, or G-tube feedings
